We started our life together the yr 1974 29th, June.
P.B was posted in Delhi,working with E.I.L as asst. Engnr. Worked there for 4yrs. From Delhi we were transferred to Ahmadabad. I joined P.B at Ahmadabad. we started our life from there. I conceived my daughter, Moina, there and we eventually learned to manage our own sweet home.
On the 7th month of my pregnancy we moved to Dehradun, at my parents place. I stayed there till moina was delivery & grew 5 months old. My husband stayed with me at my mother's place for a week.He had to join his duty.
In those days there were no facility of phone/computer. We had to depend lon letters/telegrams for emmergency. Those days life was different. When I was addmited to the nursing home for the delivery by my parents,the lady Dr. found some complication for my delivery & my parents were asked to call my husband at Ahemadabad. Hence P.B flew from Ahmedabad to Delhi after getting emergency call from my parents. That was his first journey by flight.
Those days flights were very expensive. Eventually he reached to us in the nursinghome. ohhh-----I forgot to mention that from Delhi to Dehradun he came by bus,then from bus stop to nursing home by auto. I was very happy, relaxed and excited to see him after a long gap.He hugged me then he talk to the Dr about the complication regarding the delivery issue.
It was a case of plesenta-previa. We had not heard about it earlier. At that time he was 26 & I was 24yrs old. We were not matured enough to understand all this stuffs. So at last P.B had do sign and agree for ceasarian delivery. I was blessed with my cute daughter - "moina" who is now 33yrs, doing her Ph.D in Ecology at Utah state University and was awarded with Ford Foundation scholarship in U.S
